Lakes & Natural Park
Lakes in Ethiopia are important resources for the livelihood of tis people and they are point of interest for tourists as well. The highland Lakes are represented by Lake Tana decorated with monasteries and is the biggest Lake in the country. The Rift Valley Lakes are habitats for many aquatic birds and wildlife including Hippos and Crocodiles. The rift valley lakes are sites where one can visit big crocodile in large numbers and from Arbaminch with a boat trip is a site commonly called crocodile market that gives a chance to watch crocodiles at a very close range.
National Parks Ethiopian Parks have unique features; if not boasting for the big games like in Kenya and Tanzania the diversity of wildlife both fauna and flora are exceptional.
Some of the parks are ideal for botanical researchers while the other are habitats for the rarest wild animals on earth.
