DAY 1 ADDIS
Our staff will meet you upon your arrival & transfer you to the hotel. First journey is the Addis Ababa city tour with stops at Entoto Mountains, which has views overlooking Addis Ababa; the church of St Mary, and adjacent to it, the museum of imperial objects. Then back to the city, for the National museum, Ethnological museum, St. George’s Cathedral where Haile Selassie was crowned, the Statue of Abun Petros, an Ethiopian bishop martyred by Mussolini’s fascist forces in 1936, the Meneilk the Statue, short visit of the Mercato, biggest open-air market in Africa, and various historical monuments along the way.

DAY 2 ADDIS – BAHIR DAR
Fly to Bahir Dar arrive in Bahir Dar check in Hotel and then drive to admire the Blue Nile falls. The Tissiat falls (meaning water that smokes) are 30 kms from where the Blue Nile leaves the lake heading towards Khartoum. Afternoon visit Lake Tana by boat trip Lake Tana’s 3600 sq. kms surface is dotted with more than 36 islands, many of which are the sites of monasteries and churches, some dating from the 14th century in the reign of Emperor Amde Tsion; about 3-4 hours on Lake Tana to admire the beautiful monasteries over the lake’s islands; O/N Abayminch Lodge/Tana Hotel.

DAY 3 BAHIR DAR – GONDAR
In the morning drive to Gondar 180Kms, visit Gondar, Ethiopia’s THIRD capital in the 17th and 18th century, located at the foot of the Semien Mountains. The city’s unique imperial compound contains a number of castles built 1632 to 1885 by the various Emperors who reigned during this period. These dramatic castles, unlike any other in Africa, display richness in architecture that reveals the Axumite traditions as well as the influence of Arabia; the church of Debre-Berhan Sellassie (Light of the Trinity ), which located at the summit of a hill and surrounded by fortified walls. The interior is decorated with its unique murals. Other treasures of Gonder include the 18th century palace of Ras Beit, the Bath of Fasildas, the ruined palace of the Queen Mentiwab Kuskuam church and the swimming pool of King Fassik which is used to baptize Christians during Ethiopia n Epiphany on 19th of January every year; O/N in Goha Hotel/Taye Belaye Hotel.

DAY 4 GONDAR – LALIBELA
Fly to Lalibela arrive in Lalibela check in Hotel and then Lalibela visit the first group of Lalibela rock hewn churches built in the 12th century and attributed to king Lalibela. (There are no less than 1000 churches in the Lasta region of Lalibela some hidden in enormous caves, but it is exceptional to find 11 churches of such master craftsmanship in one local; O/N Top 12/Mountain View/Panoramic View Hotel.

DAY 5 LALIBELA
Morning visit one of the churches out of the town, we propose an excursion by mules to the Asheten Mariam church or by car to the cave church of Naktule’ab with very nice view through villages. Back to Lalibela for lunch, afternoon continue visiting the 2nd group of churches; O/N Top 12/Mountain View/Panoramic View Hotel.

DAY 6 LALIBELA – AXUM
Fly to Axum; visit steles register by UNSCO, different archeological sites, the bath and the palace of Queen of Sheba, tomb of Kings and churches, among which in the church of St. Mary of Zion (where legend says is deposited the Ark of Covenant, brought here from Israel by King Menelik I); O/N Sabana/Zarid Zima/Consular Hotel.

DAY 7 AXUM – ADDIS – LANGANO
Fly to Addis and then drive to Langano and on the way the Rift valley lakes (Southern Lakes) there are seven Lakes, visit Lake Ziway surrounded by blue volcanic hill different aquatic birds; the hot spring and visit to Lakes Abiata and Shalla different varieties birds and mammals. Then proceed to the Rift Valley lake of Langano); O/N Borati Lodge.

DAY 8 LANGANO – ARBA MINCH
In the morning drive to Arbaminch450Kms, in Amharic meaning 40 springs. Admire very interesting views and the Wolayta people, their villages, culture, the cultivation of the false banana tree (from which roots they extract their traditional bread, the Kotcho) and more; drive direct to Chencha, to visit the Dorze people and village with their Bee-Hive like tubules and traditional weaving culture, their particular weaving works for which they are famous, strange houses, cultivation of sorghum and the false banana and more with spectacular, you will have attractive views over the Chamo and Abaya lakes with bright afternoon sunlight. DAY 9 ARBA MINCH – KONSO – JINKA
Drive to Konso; if the day you arrive on Thursday visit the very colorful Key Afer village market of the Tsemay & Erbore respectively the Tsemay, Ari and Benna people and possibly market and visit Konso people village, which are famous for the terracing agriculture, and have particular way of life and traditions; O/N Resort/Orit Hotel.

DAY 10 JINKA
Early in the morning drive to Jinka and enter into the Mago National park, admiring different mammals and birds on the way; and proceed to visit the Mursi people and villages. Here for beauty women use to put round plates into their lips; overnight in Jinka Orit Hotel.

DAY 11 TURMI
Drive to Turmi and dariv to Omorate by car visit then Dassanech (Gelab) people villages these tribe are famous are famous for their hairstyles, ornaments, scarification, culture and more; and then drive back to Turmi for visit Hammer people and village. If the day Monday or Saturday the market day, admire the very colorful markets of the Hammer, Karo and Dassanech tribes respectively at Turmi or Dimeka villages. Evening you will see depends on day or season the traditional dance of the Hammer people, try also to participate to their marriage ceremonies, with the bull jumping & more. DAY 12 TURMI – MURULLE – NYANGATOM -TURMI
Drive to Murulle for visit Karo tribes and their village for their very interesting decoration and scarification all over their body and very nice views over Omo River from Kortcho village. Drive to Visit then the Nyangatom people crossing the Omo River with small boats at Kangate. Then back to Turmi for visit the Hammer people culture and their attractive villages. Depends on the time and season we’ll try to participate to their marriage ceremonies, with the bull jumping & more and also evening you will see the traditional dance of the Hammer people then back to Turmi. DAY 13 TURMI – ARBAMINCH
Drive to Arbaminch; on the way visit Erbore people and visit their villages & culture and visit Lake Chamo by boat trip to see Crocodiles, Hippos and birds particularly Pelicans. O/N Haile Resort/Paradise Lodge.

DAY 14 ARBAMINCH – ADDIS
Drive to Addis; on the way visit Tiya a stele which was registered by UNSCO in 1978G.C as one of the 8th heritage site of Ethiopia. You have day use room till 18:00hrs; shopping visits the Mercato, biggest open air market in Africa. ADKAL dinner invite you in a traditional restaurant with folkloristic dances. After dinner transfer to Bole International Airport for your Departure
